Company Directors Networking – Last Friday in the Month!

Company Directors Networking

An ever-expanding group of influential executives meet in London on the last Friday of every month in the Wine Bar at the Institute of Directors (IOD), 116 Pall Mall, to share experiences, make new contacts and improve networking channels.

Launched and managed by Mike Driver and Martin Cotton, the group started six years ago. During that time numerous good business contacts and friendships have begun. Now we are working in collaboration with Clare Gillbanks from the IOD.

At each event there are first timers and old hands, so people keep coming back. All business sectors are represented from professional services to graphic designers. Directors, mainly from SMEs, with a wide range of backgrounds and skills attend. You do not have to be a member of the IOD to attend.

All CDN members can join the CDN LinkedIn Group for ongoing discussions and announcements. CDN has over 2,000 registered members. CDN Logo Design by Jason Thorne.

Meetings go from 1.45pm until 4.00pm. Attendees can come and go as they please. £12.50 online or £15 payable on the door. Please bring your own name badge.

Each meeting starts with a short talk (maximum 20 minutes).  We have had a variety of motivational and stimulating topics from “lessons for leaders” given by an ex-Army officer who had suffered with a serious brain injury, to “how extreme running in the desert changed my business life”. Many interesting speakers covering a range of subjects, all with a business link. The objective is to enthral you and provide a thought-provoking start to the meeting.
